Movie Review : Death Notes The Movie - Who do you choose ?

DeathNote is a Popular Japanese Manga Series about a high school student named Light Yagami who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing the victim's name and picturing his or her face. His main goal is to create and lead a world cleansed of evil using the book, and the complex conflict between himself and those assailing him that results.

However, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as L

Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a race to prove mental superiority between the two begins.

The psychological fear of dying could be "more nightmarish than destroying cities and killing people."
